Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the StillTabs iOS application ("StillTabs", the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

StillTabs ("we", "us") is developed and operated by Albert Major and Cesare Maria Dalbagno, who are jointly responsible for the App and act as joint data controllers for the processing described in our Privacy Policy. You can reach us at support@stilltabs.com. A postal address is available on request and is on file with Apple for trader-status disclosure under the EU Digital Services Act.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on iOS devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not sublicense, resell, decompile, reverse-engineer, or modify the App except as permitted by applicable law.

2. Acceptable use

StillTabs is a wrapper around third-party social-media websites you log into voluntarily. By signing in to one of those platforms through StillTabs you deal with that platform directly: you agree with it to its terms and conditions, its privacy policy, and its use of cookies and similar storage, exactly as if you had opened it in Safari. Those agreements are between you and the platform — we are not a party to them and cannot vary them. You remain bound by each platform's own terms, policies and cookie practices:

You agree not to use StillTabs to violate any of those platforms' terms, to attempt to evade content moderation, to commit fraud, or to violate any applicable law.

3. Third-party platforms

The platforms accessed through StillTabs are operated independently by their respective owners. We do not control them, do not own the content they serve, and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or behavior. Reporting, blocking, content moderation, and account recovery for those platforms must be done through their own tools.

4. Modifications to third-party sites

StillTabs uses CSS and JavaScript injection to hide UI elements (infinite scroll triggers, Reels, Shorts, autoplay, algorithmic feeds) on a fixed allow-list of social-media websites. These modifications are applied locally inside the in-app web view; they do not change the websites themselves and may stop working temporarily if a platform changes its DOM. We update the rules over time but make no guarantee that any specific feature will be hidden indefinitely.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or iOS version.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will StillTabs or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Apple-specific terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and StillTabs, not with Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. The Apple Standard EULA available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula also applies to your use of the App. In the event of any conflict between that EULA and these Terms, these Terms govern except where the EULA is more restrictive.

8. Termination

You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App. We may terminate or suspend your right to use the App if you materially breach these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developers reside, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Where mandatory local consumer-protection laws apply to you, they take precedence over this section.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, surfaced inside the App.

11. Privacy and analytics

StillTabs is built to work on your device and collects no personal data by default. It includes optional, anonymous product analytics and error diagnostics provided by PostHog (hosted in the European Union). These are strictly opt-in and off unless you explicitly enable them during onboarding or in Settings, and you can turn them off again at any time. Exactly what is and isn't collected, the legal bases, and your choices are set out in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
